A Couple of Links for the Day

I have had so much to do this weekend, that I haven't had much time to think, much less write a blog.  So while I try to get back on track to teaching the kids, I will leave you with two interesting science articles from this past week:

• Our First Non-Animal Cousins: Sean Carroll (Wisconsin) writes for the New York Times about Choanoflagellates who is providing clues to the origins of multicellular animals.
• Sea Turtles Navigate with Magnetic GPS: Scientists reveal how sea turtles can cross the Atlantic Ocean and return to the exact same beach every time.

Both were fascinating articles.  I will return tomorrow with a TED Talk Tuesday.
